What is eSim ?
An eSIM, short for embedded SIM, is a chip already integrated into your phone or device. Opting for an eSIM eliminates the need for a physical SIM card, allowing you to establish a quick and easy connection instantly.
To determine if your phone supports eSIM functionality, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Settings.
- Check SIM Manager; if it presents the option to add a mobile plan, cellular plan, or eSIM, your phone is eSIM-compatible.
- Alternatively, you can review your phone specifications. These details are typically included with your phone or accessible online. Note that all iPhones released after XS or XR are capable of supporting eSIM technology.
