The Seeds of Buena Vista Properties
Reflecting on the journey of Buena Vista Properties fills me with a sense of gratitude and humility. Alongside with my wife, I’ve had the privilege of co-owning this venture since its inception 15 years ago. What began as a modest endeavour has become something far beyond our initial aspirations.
In the early stages of our business, property management was virtually non-existent in Malta. Traditional long-term rentals dominated the market, but a spark of innovation ignited when we stumbled upon the potential of short-term leasing. It all started with a single property and a leap of faith, despite the daunting challenges and uncertainties that lay ahead.
Driven by curiosity and encouraged by early successes, we embarked on a journey fuelled by word-of-mouth recommendations. Friends and acquaintances soon entrusted us with managing their properties, laying the foundation for Buena Vista Properties. Despite juggling our fledgling enterprise with our respective careers, our passion for entrepreneurship burned brightly.
Today, our team has grown to over 50 dedicated individuals, and our portfolio boasts more than 200 units specialising in holiday rentals.
